Dr. J. D. Holmes & Associates International is an information systems consulting company that provides solutions to its customers' problems.   We build information systems.  We specialize in building web sites and transaction processing systems.  We also design databases and engage in decision modeling.  Emphasis is placed on having a global web presence and effective intranets and extranets.  All information systems can be translated into several foreign languages.  Special emphasis is placed on translating web sites into French, Spanish and Japanese.  We try to empower our clients by teaching them to maintain their own websites and information systems.

Dr. Judy D. Holmes is an associate professor in the Computer Information Systems Department at Middle Tennessee State University.

Mrs. Donnetta Strayhorn Butler, CFO

Senior Vice President of Finance

 

Donnetta Strayhorn Butler provides consulting services to small businesses, non-profit organizations and Colleges in the area of financial and administrative management. She retired from Meharry Medical College in June 2004 after serving twenty-two years with the College. Her position at retirement was Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration where over a ten year period she provided leadership for business, fiscal and administrative activities. Other appointments that she held at Meharry include, Vice President for Business and Finance, Treasurer and Director of Accounting.

Ms. Butler received the Master of Business Administration from Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee and the Bachelor of Science (with High Distinction) from Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee with concentration in Accounting and Business Administration.

Mrs. Butler achieved many significant accomplishments throughout her career and serves on both corporate and non-profit boards in the Nashville area. She also holds membership in numerous local and national professional and civic organizations.

Mrs. Angela L. Burr

Senior Vice President of Accounting & Bookkeeping

Angela L. Burr, daughter of Julia Ella Coleman Douglas and Andrew L. Douglas, was born in Nashville, TN on 10/9/1957.  She attended Nashville public schools.  She attended the University of Tennessee and the American Institute of Banking.  She also completed the Omega Consumer Lending at Owens School of Business at Vanderbilt University.  Currently, Angela is a Vice President with Bank of America where she has been for over 28 years.  In addition to her role as a banking center manager, she is also responsible for training new managers in the Nashville Area.  Angela has numerous awards and recognition in banking.  Most recently she received the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Nashville, Inc.  Angela is married to Dexter Burr.  Angela and Dexter own a successful Bar B Q restaurant and catering business.  They are the parents of 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Colonel Charlie J. Coleman, Jr., Logistics Manager

International Vice President of Logistics

Colonel Coleman retired from the USAF as Director of Maintenance for AF Systems Command

Charlie J. Coleman, Jr. son of Charlie and Cleo (Hawkins) Coleman was born in Florence AL on 2/5/1938.  He attended Florence Public schools and received a BA in chemistry from Talladega College in Talladega , AL in 1960.  Charlie also has an MS in Logistics from the Air Force Institute of Technology.  He has additional hours in Systems Management from the University of Southern California .  Charlie started his work career teaching Chemistry and General Science at Burrell-Slater HS in Florence .  He worked for a brief time as a Chemist in Illinois before being commissioned in the USAF.  While in the Air Force, Charlie attained the rank of Colonel.  During his military career, Colonel Coleman had 11 stateside assignments (Plus Hawaii), 5 overseas assignments and traveled extensively throughout the Pacific and European Theaters.  Colonel Coleman retired from the Air Force in 1990 as the Director of Aircraft Maintenance for the Research and Development command of the Air Force. He finished his working career teaching AFJROTC at Jeffersonville High School in 1998.  He is married to the former Dolores A. Leach of Florence .  They have two children and six grandchildren.
